Lots of food and fellowship at the Dec YAM meeting.

Folks all I can say is we have some gourmet chefs at Hollywood COC. We had our young adult meeting saturday night potluck style. The cooks came out and we had a great time fellowshipping and eating. Many worked that day but still came out drowsy and all to enjoy each others company ! We had a chance to discuss what we want to accomplish in 2008. Including fellowshipping with surrounding congregations. And we planned for the next 3 Yam events. Info on that will posted here and at church soon. Here are some pics from the night.

Great Turnout Last Night

Last night we packed it in at Bro.Browns home for Monday Night Football. Add to that he hooked up some mean red beans and rice with the neckbone thrown in . How you love that ! The game was a blow out :( However everyone had good fun and fellowship. Some guys worked off the food by playing some basketball in the backyard.And one brother, you know who you are, decided to hit the weights that night to work up a sweat !

Our next YAM event will be at Skate Galaxy at 12828 Jefferson Hwy. Plan to be there at 6pm. Skating is $7. Lasertag is $5. Also they have rock climbing. Lets pack the house ! If we can get 20 people we get a deal. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend. Here are the directions.

Monday Night Football

Some of the brothers got together last night for monday night football. It was a double header which made for a late night. But we all enjoyed the game and fellowship.

Our first meeting tonight was great. We had a good turnout and food ! Everyone got a chance to know each other a bit better . We shared personal stories and brainstormed for the next get together .
